This attack is the same attack a character does when he or she jumps with the Screw Attack item. However this attack can be done anytime by Samus, without needing the Screw Attack item. She jumps up into the air spinning. Th force of the spin will push Samus upwards. Screw Attack acts as Samus' third jump.
