Present (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)
The Present is a special item appearing in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. After taking on Bub's Trouble, Mario discovers that Bub and his mother have gotten into a fight over Bub not doing his schoolwork, and Bub wants to give his mother a present to make up.
The present contains either a Shroom Cake, a Keel Mango or a Fright Mask (based upon Mario's decision) along with an apology note from Bub. Since Sylvia does not want to see Bub anymore, Bub has Mario deliver the present to her. Upon receiving it, Sylvia is touched by the note and the present and asks Mario to tell Bub she is sorry and that she forgives him.
