Present (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door)

The Present is a special item during the events of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. After Mario took on Bub's trouble, Mario discovered that Bub and his Mother had gotten into a fight over Bub not doing his schoolwork. And Bub wanted to give his mother a present to make up. The present contains either a Shroom Cake, A Keel Mango, or a Fright Mask (based upon Mario's decision) along with a touching apology note from Bub. But since Sylvia doesn't want to see Bub anymore, Bub has Mario deliver the present to Sylvia. Sylvia is touched by the note and the present. Then she asks Mario to tell Bub she is sorry and that she forgives him. Mario is then rewarded Bub's entire life savings; Three coins.
