The Pianta Hot Spring[1] is a relaxing sauna in Super Mario Sunshine, located on the northwest end of Pianta Village near two massive palm trees. The hot spring consists of a large platform made entirely of white stones, inside of which is small circular spa-like basin built into the ground, and the upper half of a large Pianta statue similar in appearance to the Grand Pianta Statue. The water that the Pianta Hot Spring is filled with comes from the nose of the statue. The hot spring closes at night, at which time the entrance is closed off by a log fence and the water is drained out of it. At midday, the water is directed back to the hot spring and heated up[2].
