The Pearl Beans are two differently-colored pearls with small beanstalks growing out of them. In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, the brothers must find these two items by using the Firebrand and the Thunderhand techniques. They must be given to the Jellyfish Sisters, otherwise they'll have to pay 100,000 coins for their lesson. The Red Pearl Bean is at the end of the northeastern road, and requires the Firebrand technique to get. The Green Pearl Bean is at the end of the northwestern road, and requires the Thunderhand technique to get. After given to the Jellyfish Sisters, Mario and Luigi gain the Fire Bros. and Thunder Bros. moves.
