The Passion Potion is a type of love potion that was featured prominantly in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em / Will the Real Elvis Please Shut Up!".

In "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em / Will the Real Elvis Please Shut Up!", the gluttonous Queen Rotunda has her servant, Hildy, create a large batch of Passion Potion for her; Queen Rotunda wished to use the Passion Potion of Prince Pompadour, wanting to make bhim fall in love with her. Unfortunately, the Passion Potion is ingested by Queen Rotunda herself, causing her to fall in love with the first person she sees, Mario.

Later in "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em / Will the Real Elvis Please Shut Up!", Queen Rotunda, during her forced wedding to Mario, ingest another dose of Passion Potion, the nearby Prince Pompadour also ingests some Passion Potion as well. This results in the two falling in love with one another and subsequently marrying; unfortunately, the nearby Hildy also drinks some Pasion Potion accidentely dropped into the wedding punch bowl by Luigi and ends up falling in love with Luigi and subsequently chases him and nearby Mario, Princess Toadstool and Toad across the land.

Mentioned ingredients of a the Passion Potion include one spring mistletoe, one ripe artichoke heart, and, oddly, one Fat Boys record. Creating a Passion Potion seems to be somewhat difficult, as when Princess Toadstool and Toad attempted to create some, it exploded violently on their vfirst try to make it.
