Parlor is the first real room in the game Luigi's Mansion. In the beginning of the game, a Gold Ghost purposely dropped the key to the parlor in the main part of the foyer. Upon entering the first time entering the Parlor, the same Gold Ghost gave the plumber a good scare and headed toward him. but before the ghost could get any further to the cowered green-chothed Mario brother, Professor Elvin Gadd came and attemped to suck the ghost up. After the failed attempt to catch the ghost, it disappered and Gadd and Luigi had a short first impresion before the same ghost with two other Gold ghosts were about to attack them and they had to flee. Upon after the training at the lab, Luigi entered the Parlor again with his intention to find his brother. If the player puts out all the candles in the room the paintings will talk to Luigi and warn him about what he has done. Then a couple of Gold Ghosts will attack Luigi and he must defeat them to get the key to the Anteroom.
The Parlor is mostly filled with furniture and the above mentioned possesed portraits aside from that there is not much else.
