When used, Ness and Lucas throw a bolt of lightning from their fingertips, Ness's traveling at a downward arc, while Lucas's travels directly forward, but it pushes him back a set distance. In addition, when Ness uses PK Fire in the air, the bolt travels at a greater downward arc than on the ground. The attacks upon hitting something are also different; Ness's creates a pillar of fire that deals continuous damage until it disappears, while Lucas's bursts into a fire that hits once.
