Template:Minigame-infobox Mosh-Pit Playroom is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 8. It takes place in some sort of playroom and the characters are toy size. Its name is a portmanteau of "mosh pit" and "ballpit playroom".

Introduction

The four characters appear, toy-sized, in a small container surrounded by other toys in a playroom. Hovering above their heads are four Fly Guys carrying a basket filled with numerous balls in each player's color. As the Fly Guys hover upwards and out of sight with the basket, the four characters each spread out to a corner of the container, and the game begins.

Gameplay

The Fly Guys dump the basket of colored balls into the container, whose floor of features 8-bit Mario from Super Mario Bros., and they all start bouncing around. The characters must attempt to collect all fifty of their own colored balls. The character that collects all fifty of their balls first wins.

Controls

Players needs to hold the Wii Remote sideways and press left, right, up or down to move. They can jump by pressing Two Button.

Ending

The winning character is seen standing alone in the center of the container, with the four Fly Guys hovering over them, this time carrying a basket of colorful confetti. As the winning character does their victory pose, the Fly Guys fly upwards and dump the confetti, which falls on the character. Losing characters are not seen.
