''Mario Quiz Cards'' are a series of informational fact cards licensed by Nintendo and published by Atlas Editions in the mid 1990s.  They follow a specific format that usually features an illustration of a [[Mario]] series character, such as a [[Shy Guy]] or [[Princess Peach]] with a word bubble that asks a multiple choice question.  A separate illustration follows that usually features [[Mario]], [[Luigi]], [[Peach]], or occasionally [[Yoshi]] and is related to the question is displayed below.  The answer is then revealed on the back along with a detailed explanation accompanied either by a photograph or an illustration.  The cards cover a wide variety of topics, including science, history, astronomy, and geography.  They also sometimes reveal  information about the characters that is not otherwise revealed in games, such as [[Peach]]'s blood type.
