I am now retired(or layed off). As of May 8th, 2008, never again will I edit this wiki or read anything on any article on it anywhere. I offered to return to the forums peaceably, after a pardon for a crime I did not commit, but the tyrant, haughty forum mods would grant no such reasonable request. Good riddance. And maybe alot of you should get a life, experience life, get a girlfriend or something, instead of sitting all day at the computer editing some wiki that is too stupid to acknowledge Mario's Italian heritage.

EVERYONE agrees that Mario is an Italian Stereotype. There is no one that takes no cognizance in this. But I shall prove that if Mario is an Italian stereotype, then he must be Italian. Ponder this: From South Park there was a character named Chef. Ppl called Chef a "black stereotype." Now if Chef happend to be white, then he could not have been called a "Black Stereotype." Therefore, it is undeniable that if Mario is an Italian Stereotype(which everyone agrees, cause he is) then he MUST BE ITALIAN.

- 1. His name is MARIO. Named after an ITALIAN LANDLORD. So I believe he was created to be that way. 2. They didn't have talking in games until the N64. How could they have given him an accent or voice or personnality even if they wanted to back then? Even if the small chance he was not created Italian is true, that is clearly how he[The character Mario] was developed and has been for atleast the past 12 years.

- Mario: His name is Mario. Mario=Italian name. He looks Italian. He is bi-lingual(he speaks Italian, his first language being Italian. It is proven Italian was his first language because he speaks broken-English. It is proven he speaks Italian because of the times he gets angry and bursts into it, such as in Mv.DK and his Italian mutterings in M&L:SS. Mario talks with his hands. His VERY WELL KNOWN Italian catch-phrase is "Mama-Mia". He talks with his hands. Italian personnality. Italian accent. Loves Italian food. Nuff said. PROOF. Unless Mariowiki allows editors to call them Italian characters, this wiki is a wiki of false Mario information. Mario did grow up in Brooklyn, but he may have spent some of his childhood in Italy- WE DON'T KNOW. But it is not proven EITHER WAY. Based on his accent, he is a Southern Italian.

Hello, my name is Michael Rudnicki, I live in New Jersey. I have chosen the name X06 dunno why this stupid name is my Wikipedia name. But I am really the MarioMaster. I have been playing Mario games since I was 3 years old since my birth, Nov. 6 1988. I won a Mario Trivia contest my school hosted with flying colors. I truly hoped they would have asked more detalied questions in order to demonstrate my true knowledge. I am half Italian(such as Mario, but he is all Southen Italian). I am a Mario fanatic. The rest of my ethnic makeup is 1/4th Irish and 1/4th Polish. I am the grandson of all immigrants. I hope to use my vast knowledge of Mario to improve this MarioWiki(which I can see needs improvement.)
