A Gulpit.

Gulpits are large, purple beasts with rather long pink tongues that are found in the icy Shiver region. They defend themselves by picking up stones in their mouths, and spitting them back out at the offender or by licking their enemiy with their tongue. Mario encountered Gulpits on Shiver Mountain and in Shiver Snowfield during the events of Paper Mario.

There are two sizes of rocks. The big rocks do more damage than the small rocks do. ...Big surprise, huh?
