| The '''Green''' is a major part of the [[Mario Golf (series)|''Mario Golf'' series]]. The Green of the course is where the [[Pin]], Flag, and [[Hole]] are located. The Green is usually surrounded by a '''Fringe''' and further out by [[Fairway]], [[Rough]], or [[Bunker (obstacle)|Bunker]]s. In order to complete the course, the player must get the golf ball in the hole; depending on the amount of strokes it takes to get the ball in the hole, can tell a person what score they will get. Golfers can only use putters to strike the ball while on the green. The location of the hole always changes on the green. In the [[Star Tournament]], the Green is replaced with [[Tournament Green]].
