The Elite Goombule is a stub-species of Goombules that appear insides of Bowser in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. An Elite Goombule has a Buzzy Beetle-like shell that protects it from Mario and Luigi's jump attacks. Elite Goombules attempt to ram their opponents, an attack that Mario and Luigi can dodge with a jump; they can also hit Elite Goombules with their hammers.
