Template:Minigame-infobox Dust Buddies is a 4-Player and Duel minigame appearing in Mario Party DS. Its name is a pun on dust bunnies.

Introduction

The game starts with the two or four competitors walking down a hallway when a vacuum cleaner comes. The competitors then start running away from the incoming vacuum.

Gameplay

Players must run away from the vacuum cleaner in the hallway to avoid getting sucked up, dodging obstacles, such as fluffs, balls, film strips, ribbons, and buttons along the way.

What obstacles are located in a given location and how many there are change in each game. If the player is on a ribbon or a photo negative, they are most likely going to get sucked up faster. If the player is on a dust bunny, they will slow down. If the player hits a button, they will fall down. The ball is just a regular obstacle. However, if it hits the vacuum cleaner, it will rebound, and will make those who are hit fall. Either the players who cross the finish line or the last player standing are the winners.

Ending

In the end of the minigame, all characters will be on top of a dresser. The winner(s) then does the dance they do whenever they win a minigame.
