When [[Bowser]] first discovers [[Chakroad]]s, Chakron (albeit unseen) explains them to Bowser. Later on in the game, when Mario and Luigi are searching for the Star Cures, they find Chakron atop a mountain, meditating. He explains that he has frozen in a pose for 1,000 years, gathering knowledge from the stars. He offers them the third Star Cure if they can use an attack that would shake the ground and break his pose. During his explanation, Luigi humorously tries to imitate his pose, but falls over. At first, Mario and Luigi battle him. After 3 turns, the match is ended and Chakron becomes disappointed. He tells the bros that there is an attack in the wood that will free him of his pose. Mario and Luigi then learn [[Snack Basket]] in [[Dimble Wood]], and use it in battle against Chakron. The bros. would need to get an Excellent in order to win the battle. When Snack Basket is used, Chakron will flip out of control and fall back on the ground. He will then slither towards the edge and fall off.
