Balloon (platform)

Balloons, not to be confused with Baron Von Zeppelins, are platforms that Yoshi could ride in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They only appear in one level, Don't Look Back!, where they came in different colors. Stepping on one of them will cause it to stop its natural rising, and using them too long will result in their disappearance. They make a small appearance as the same thing in Yoshi's Island DS, and appeared in Windblown Wilderness and Superhard Acrobatics. In Super Princess Peach, they always came in red, and gained magenta cheeks. They appeared in Giddy Sky, and never moved. If Peach stood on them, they would go down slowly. If Peach jumped off of one, it would rise. To make use of them, Peach had to jump repeatedly, and get off before they vanished.
