==Trivia==
*The Polka Dress, Lazy Shell, and Super Suit are the only three types of armor that cannot be repurchased at any time in the game.
*Although the armor have their own color schemes and patterns in official artworks, they do not change the characters' color palettes in the game when equipped, as if the characters were still wearing their casual attire.
*Bowser's Courage Shell shares its name with [[Courage Shell|an item from ''Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door''.]]
*In the North American version, Mario's armor being Shirts instead of Overalls is mainly due to modesty concerns when marketing these games to kids.
*Ironically, Peach's armor from the "Sailor" line was renamed to Nautica Dress in the North American version for unknown reasons. However, it has nothing to do with the Nautica brand of apparel marketed in real life.
