Star Tournament

The Star Tournament is an unlockable challenge from Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. The challenge includes the same competitions and courses, only with a more intricately designed and difficult way of play. The winds are much stronger and blow the golf ball much farther, the Chain Chomp's chains reach farther, there are more trees and rough, the Green is changed to Tournament Green, Boos effect the golf ball more drastically, Bunkers are deeper, it rains more on the courses, and the computer competition is more brutal.

In order for the Star Tournament to be unlocked, the player must first win all competitions of the regular tournament. The player must be skilled and know how to guide the ball in all sorts of circumstances in order to win the Star Tournament.

Players also usually have to have Star Characters in order to play successfully.
