Torte

Is the wish explicitly supposed to be Chef Torte in the remake? Because as pointed out in the edit summary, it's more likely it's supposed to be his apprentice. PrincessPeachFan (talk) 13:04, December 4, 2023 (EST)

From what I've seen of the remake, it doesn't correct this or the Torte enemy thought, which is shocking to me, because if you know what's really going on, Chef Torte's accent is a masterclass localization choice - but the only problem with it is that removing the same quirk from his apprentice caused a few minor issues. It seemed like such a no-brainer to fix since it's not even that hard to write around. Well, I'd look to the other languages on this one. Since we're on the topic, I might as well add that the "Treasure-hunting Toad's" wish is undeniably supposed to be Croco's. That's right: he was conjecturally named after a wish that actually wasn't his. Go figure. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:30, December 4, 2023 (EST)

Oh, you're right! He even ends his wish in "マース" in Japanese, like how Croco speaks. That should definitely be fixed then. As for the other wish, perhaps it could be listed simply as "Torte"? Blinker (talk) 14:51, December 4, 2023 (EST)
