Hammer Whacker is an Arcade mini-game in Super Paper Mario. Hammer Whacker is the only unlockable mini-game in the game-Mario or the three other heroes will need the Golden Card to unlock this game.

In Hammer Whacker, a Koopa Striker will throw Shells at Mario and the player must swing the Wii Remote like a hammer to knock the shells back. The closer each shell gets to Mario before it gets hit, the more points Mario will be awarded at the end of each round. If the shell hits Mario, he will lose a life. Once he loses three lives, the game is over. Also, if Mario completes a hundred rounds he will successfully complete the game.
