Bandits are as the name implies crooks who steal coins and other valuables.

- Badge Bandit: Bandits that steal badges.
Notable Bandits
Bandit
Bandits along with Shy Guy, were two of the most common enemies in Yoshi's Island, though in the minigames, Yoshi would face of against Bandit to win items. If the player uses the minigame code, the second player can use the second controller to play as Bandit. This makes him one of the first playable bad guys.
Big Bandit
The bosses amoung normal Bandits, Big Bandits wear green and can steal items. The character Bandy Andy is a Big Bandit.
Badge Bandit
The head honcho of all Bandits, Badge Bandits. Badge Bandits aren't only the strongest of Bandits they're also capable of stealing Mario's badges! Don't worry thought you can re-fight Badge Bandits to get them back. Badge Bandits wear purple.
