Photos with Mario
Photo Together with Super Mario (Japanese:いっしょにフォト スーパーマリオ Photo Together with Super Mario) is the Nintendo 3DS's first entirely Mario-centered application. The application and cards were released in Japan on April 23, 2013. It is a photography application developed by the same teams behind Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario 3D Land, compatible with special Mario-themed AR cards. The cards come with special Nintendo e-Shop prepaid cards, also including a QR code on the prepaid card to download the app from the e-Shop.

There are six cards to be released, two for each price point: a Goomba and a Koopa Troopa with 1000 yen cards, Mario and Luigi with 2000 yen cards, and Bowser and Princess Peach with 3000 yen cards; while Mario, Princess Peach, and Goomba were released with the app; the others are set for a later release.
The app features the ability to move the characters away from the AR cards and place them anywhere to take a photo. Additionally, placing multiple cards in one frame causes the characters to interact with each other in some way (i.e. the Goomba charges Mario but gets jumped on); the ? Block card is also compatible with the app, which creates a Warp Pipe that provides a different reaction with each character the card interacts with (with Mario and Peach, a Toad emerges, and with the Goomba, a Piranha Plant emerges; if multiple cards are in the frame, the question card shows only a pipe). The player can also cause several effects to happen on-screen, such as blowing bubbles, causing a gust of wind, causing it to snow, and having party poppers go off.
