Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is a sport game that pits Mario, Sonic, and their various allies against each other in Olympic events. The game has the official 2008 Olympics license and will feature environments based on actual Olympic venues. Events specifically mentioned include the 100 meter dash, table tennis, and swimming.
Besides Mario and Sonic, Luigi, Yoshi, Tails, and Knuckles have all been mentioned as playable characters.
The game will be available for both the Wii and Nintendo DS. It's scheduled for the 2007 holiday season.
