Fire Flower

When Mario or Luigi get obtains a Fire Flower, they transform into Firey Mario or Firey Luigi. In this form, they can shoot fireballs which can defeat many enemies. The Flower first appeared in Super Mario Bros., which could be found in an Item box if you had already obtained a Super Mushroom. In Super Mario 64 DS, a similar flower known as a Power Flower will give either Mario, Luigi, or Wario a special power, which would be gained by wearing a special cap in the original Super Mario 64. When Mario uses a Power Flower, he could be able to fly by doing a triple jump. If Luigi used one, he would become partially immaterial and could move through certain objects to get to new places. If Wario used one, he would become metal and could walk at normal speed underwater and could withstand great winds.
