Template:Minigame-infobox Pound Peril is a Duel minigame found in Mario Party 5.
Gameplay
There are twelve switches in a circle. By ground-pounding these switches, players attempt to find the one that does not hurt them. Hitting a wrong switch will hurt the player with a poison liquid spill, zapper, ten-pound weight, or spring. The switches reset after being pressed, making it harder to find the correct one. Players can also punch and ground-pound each other to stun them temporarily. If a player ground-pounds the correct switch, a jingling sound will be heard from the spotlight and confetti will appear. If neither player finds the correct switch in the time limit, the minigame ends in a draw.
