Template:Minigame-infobox Social Climbers is a Free-for-All minigame appearing in Super Mario Party. Its name is a pun on a phrase that refers to people who are eager to gain a higher social status.

Gameplay

In this minigame, the players must continuously climb a pole. The first player to reach the top wins.

On the Challenge Road, this is the fifth challenge of Shell Street and the fifth challenge overall. The goal is to reach the top in 25 seconds for the normal challenge and 20 seconds for the Master Challenge.

If Peach, Daisy, or Rosalina win, they will sit on the pole rather than do a handstand like the other characters, except for Goomba, who lacks arms and instead poses upside down with his head on the pole.

Controls

  • joy-con + L/R – Climb

In-game description

  • "Climb to the top!"
  • "Swing joy-con-l down while pressing L/R and then release while swinging joy-con-l back up, until you reach the top!"
