Mario lights up a Torch.

A Torch[1], also called a Fire Lamp[citation needed], is a switch found in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. It is a lamp-like switch only activated by Mario's Firebrand. Torches are highly similar to Conductors, which react the same way to Luigi's Thunderhand. These Torches are much more common than the Conductors, however.
