Lakitu Launch is a minigame featured in New Super Mario Bros. It is in the 1 on 1 category and can only be played by two players. It is the multiplayer equivalent of Bob-omb Squad.

To play, the players should launch the balls at the [[Lakitu|Lakitus]]. They will get 100 points and 200, 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 if they hit multiple Lakitus in one shot. Some Lakitus carry a [[Star]].  The star is worth 1000 points. However, the points go to whoever's screen the star is on, so the players should be careful to only hit it if it's on their screen.
To play, both players use the stylus on the [[Nintendo DS]]'s touch screen must launch [[Spiny Egg]]s into the [[Shell]] baskets being carried by the [[Lakitu]]s on the top screen.
