Template:Badge-infobox Defend Plus is a badge in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In Paper Mario, it is found in Shy Guy's Toy Box, in a chest in the pink station reached by using the Jack-in-the-Box. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it is found in Twilight Town, in the Twilight Shop's storage room, and Rogueport Sewers, in a hidden room only accessible with Boat Mario and can be stolen from Chain Chomps and Bob-ulks. If equipped, it raises Mario's defense by one, making him unable to be harmed by weak enemies such as Goombas. Equipping multiples Defend Plus badges increases its effect.

Merluvlee's prediction in Paper Mario

  • "I see...a Defend Plus Badge. It's in the Toy Box. You go to the right at the pink station and jump on the first jack-in-the-box. You go all the way to the left and find it tucked away inside a treasure chest."
