I was just about to ask the same thing. I remember seeing in a manual for a Mario game that they are "big freakin bugs with shells made of diamond". Plus their name is "BUZZY BEETLES". {{User|Magikrazy51}} | |||

Section Deleted
I deleted the Super Princess Peach section, as it had nothing to do with Buzzy Beetles-only spike tops. If anyone objects, heres what the section said:
"Spike Tops appear in Super Princess Peach, where they are, for some reason, called "Mecha-Spike Tops". The game subsequently also features Mad Mecha-Spike Tops, which are influenced by the Rage Vibe."
