An '''Octo''' is a [[Blooper]]-like creature from [[Yoshi's Safari]]. Though they only make a tiny appearance, the [[King Magma Blooper]] from [[Super Mario Galaxy]] is heavily resembled by them.


== Appearance ==
An '''Octo''' is a small orange octopus, similar to the squid-like [[Blooper]]. They have only appeared in the game ''[[Yoshi's Safari]]''. During the events of the game, Octos aided [[Bowser]] and his [[Koopalings]] during the subjugation of[[Jewelry Land]].
 
[[Mario]] and [[Yoshi (character)|Yoshi]] encountered Octos in the fourth level of the Light World, [[Crescent Coast]]. While traveling underwater, the two heroes had to fight off an assault from these weak creatures. The [[Octopota]], a giant jar-like creature, launched wave after wave of Octos at Mario and Yoshi. Fortunately, the small cephalopods could be easily destroyed with a couple blasts from Mario’s [[Super Scope]]. After shattering the Octopota, the Octos disappeared with their creator, never to be seen again.

[[King Magam Blooper]] from [[Super Mario Galaxy]] bears a resemblance to the Octos.


The Octos appear in Yoshi's Safari during a miniboss battle in the underwater stage while [[Yoshi]] is fighting the [[Octopota]].
