Template:PM1enemy Pokey Mummies are undead Pokeys that closely resemble Poison Pokeys. Pokey Mummies also fight like Poison Pokeys, having the ability to poison Mario and his friends; nonetheless, the two are a different species. Pokey Mummies only appear in the game Paper Mario, and are found inside coffins in Dry Dry Ruins. Although these resemble coffins, there is a possibility that they are sarcophagi. The Pokey Coffin has a face much like a Pokey Mummy itself. Besides its name, a Pokey Mummy does not resemble an actual mummy. It is not wrapped in bandages and does not have the physical appearance of the undead.
Trivia
- In the game New Super Mario Bros., a mummified Pokey, (called Mummipokey), appeared as the second main boss.
