'''{{world|1|towern2}}''' is the first tower level in the game ''[[New Super Mario Bros. 2]]''. It is a basic level filled with Snake Blocks and undead enemies such as [[Bone Goomba]]s.

The player starts at the bottom of the tower. There are Snake Blocks throughout the level which can either help or hinder Mario. There are also [[Bone Goomba]]s, [[Bone Piranha Plant]]s, and [[Dry Bones|Dry Bones']] in the level. The bosses in this tower are two [[Reznor]]s located on a wheel with four rectangular ? Blocks.

*'''Star Coin 1''': When Mario comes to the area with the Red Ring just before the checkpoint, there will be a fork along the path. Mario needs to wall kick up the left, narrow path, where the Star Coin is, at the right time as Snake Blocks will pass through the area and block Mario's path.

*'''Star Coin 2''': After the checkpoint, the player should notice a red pipe in the left wall. To enter it, let the Snake Blocks extend out underneath it. This will allow Mario to enter the pipe. Inside, press the P-Switch and ride the Snake Blocks up to reach the second Star Coin.

==Secret Exit==

After the checkpoint, there is a door on the platform above. Entering the door leads to a room with a Coin Roulette Block enclosed by Snake Blocks. Above the room there is a red pipe which releases [[Bone Goomba]]s. The player should notice that the Snake Blocks enter and exit the room through holes in the left and right walls. The player needs to enter the hole on the right when the Snake Blocks are not there. Entering it will lead to a small room with a gold [[Warp Pipe]]. Warping through it takes the player to the roof of the tower, where several Snake Blocks can be found. At the end is the flagpole.
