Wingin' It
Wingin' It from Mario Party 7
Type 2-vs.-2 minigame
Time limit 10 seconds

Wingin' It is a 2-vs.-2 minigame in Mario Party 7. Its name comes from the expression "winging it," which is when someone reacts to things as they happen and improvise, rather than planning things through in advance.

Introduction

Two players jump into a flying Koopa machine. The screen splits into two to show the other team.

Gameplay

In this minigame, both teams of players are in large Colossal Koopa Paratroopa-like aircraft, and they need to rapidly tap the A Button button to flap the Koopas' wings to get to the top of a building. As the teams fly up, Koopa Troopas, Shy Guys, and Goombas inside will open the windows to wave at the teams, while a Piranha Plant will pop out of the chimney. The team that ascends higher after ten seconds wins the minigame. If both teams get the same distance, the minigame ends in a tie; however, the Red Team may win by default.[citation needed]

Ending

The ending to Wingin' It

The losing team's flying Koopa machine falls to the ground, breaking the machine and dizzying the team's members. Afterwards, the winning team's members celebrate in front of their machine, while the losing team's members perform their losing poses in front of their machine as it emits smoke. If the minigame ends in a tie, both machines fall and all players perform their losing poses.
