Template:Level Windmill Hills is the first level of Autumn Hills, and the ninth overall in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. It contains several rotating windmills that the characters must use as platforms.

Overview

Windmill Hills starts out in a small jungle (less dense that the areas found in Lost Mangroves) containing several large rat-like enemies and owls, as well as a row of spinning windmills with spinning platforms. The player must use Dixie Kong's flying ability to get over the gaps and jump on larger enemies such as

Hidden Collectibles and Objects

K-O-N-G Letters

• K: Right above the flying (owl enemy)'s head below the second windmill, the jump to get it must be timed correctly.
• O: Past the fiery blades soon after the checkpoint.
• N: On a platform, after the twisting part of the track is over.
• G: In between two of the barriers on the track, soon after where the third Puzzle Piece is.

Puzzle Pieces

1. By breaking the wall behind where they first started out in the level with a barrel, the Kongs will go to a secret area, where if all the bananas are collected in 30 seconds they will receive the first Puzzle Piece.
2. High above the track, near the Monocle Monicas.
3. Between two platforms, after the twisting track with the boxes
4. Under the two fiery blades, found soon after falling to the water area
5. Underwater below the end platform where the Slot Machine Barrel is.
