Mob Sleds is a 1-vs-Rivals minigame featured in Mario Party 9. The name is a pun on "bobsleds". This minigame acts as the opposite of Ruins Rumble, whereas the solo player controls a vehicle while the team players evade the solo player.

Introduction

Starting at the leftmost rival, the camera moves to show each one. It then zooms out to show the entire field.

Gameplay

The solo player tries to avoid being hit by the rivals as they hunt the solo player down in Cooligan sleds. The rivals have to stay along the tracks, while the solo player can move freely. The sleds are the same speed as the solo player, but reverse direction if they make a head-on collision with another sled. When playing with two rivals, the track is smaller than if playing with three. If the solo player survives until time is up, he/she is victorious.

This minigame is also available in Perspective Mode, and is the final minigame unlocked, as well as the only 1-vs-Rivals minigame in Perspective Mode. The player is automatically the solo player, and must avoid the others for thirty seconds. The camera view is changed, so that it is near the player.
