The '''Wario Car''' (or '''Wario's Jalopy'''<ref>Hodgson, David S. ''Mario Kart: Double Dash'' PRIMA's Official Strategy Guide. Pgs. 29, 36, 87, 118.</ref>) is a vehicle that [[Wario]] drives. It is purple in color, and its design is based on a {{wp|Cadillac Eldorado|1958 Cadillac Eldorado}}, while also bearing a resemblance to the {{wp|Batmobile}} from the {{wp|Batman|''Batman'' comics}}. It first appears in ''[[Wario Land 4]]''.

In ''[[Wario Land 4]]'', [[Wario]] reads [[:File:WL4-Newspaper.png|an article]] about a [[Golden Pyramid|pyramid]] hidden deep in a Jungle, with a large amount of treasure hidden inside. Wario uses his Wario Car to cross a desert to reach the pyramid and to return with the treasure.

The Wario Car has a minor appearance in the intro of ''[[Wario Land: Shake It!]]'', where Wario is seen sleeping in it.

===''Mario Party'' series===

The Wario Car only makes two small appearances in the [[Mario Party (series)|''Mario Party'' series]]. In ''[[Mario Party-e]]'', Wario drives the Wario Car in the minigame [[Wario's Bluff]]. In ''[[Mario Party 10]]'', a toy-like Wario Car can be seen on the southeast of the [[Wario Board]] in amiibo Party. It is simply a background element.

===''WarioWare'' series===

In the instruction booklet of ''[[WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!]]'', [[Dr. Crygor]] states that he created Wario's car.

The Wario Car has made various minor appearances in [[microgame]]s throughout the [[WarioWare (series)|''WarioWare'' series]]. In ''WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!''{{'}}s [[Produce Pandemonium]], Wario is shown to be driving the car. In ''[[WarioWare: Touched!]]''{{'}}s [[Public Transportation]], a silhouette of Wario driving in his car appears in the second level of the microgame, chasing the rail cart. In the ''[[WarioWare Gold]]'' version of the ''[[WarioWare: Smooth Moves]]'' microgame [[Road Wario]], the driver and car from the original version are replaced by Wario and the Wario Car, respectively.

In ''[[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]'', it is the signature [[kart]] of Wario and can fit two people. The Wario Car is a heavyweight [[kart]], meaning it is tough and speedy. However, in comparison with the other heavyweight karts, the Wario Car is rather light; its weight is tied with the [[Turbo Birdo]] and the [[Parade Kart]]. In terms of its actual stats, the Wario Car's top speed is only tied with the [[Green Fire]] and Parade Kart, despite of its four-star speed stat. It also shares the same acceleration as the Green Fire and [[Barrel Train]]. The Wario Car does not have a windshield like in ''Wario Land 4''. It is also the only heavyweight kart in the game that does not return in ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]''.

The manual mentions that the Wario Car's top speed was 450 km/h (280 mph), consistent with its specifications in ''WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!''. However, for the Mario Kart Grand Prix, its engine had been turned down.

====''Mario Kart Arcade GP'' subseries====

In ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'', the Wario Car is featured on a [[Sticker (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)|sticker]] that raises launch power by 47. It can only be used by Wario during [[smashwiki:Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary|The Subspace Emissary]].

 

In ''[[miiwiki:Tomodachi Life|Tomodachi Life]]'', the Wario Car makes a minor cameo in the Promo (Rock & Roll) background in the Photo Studio.
