Howdy! I'm Soru! 👋

I've 26 years old and I am a fan of the Mario franchise since my early childhood. I discovered it thanks to Super Mario Bros. (bundled with Duck Hunt) and Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES, before moving on to Super Mario 64. Later I was gifted a Nintendo DS, which drastically boosted my love for the series! Yes, I played all the titles on that console thanks to a little magic cartridge that was very popular in the late 2000s, starting with an R and ending with a 4, but today I proudly own physical copies of all those games.

Alongside that, I work as a developer, mainly specialized in JavaScript and Python, with a discreet interest in data science and data processing. This also shows in how I approach wikis: I particularly enjoy working on pages that gather and organize information, such as lists of items or enemies from a specific title. :3

I make sure to carefully preserve data accuracy: spelling, grammar, or punctuation mistakes present in the games are always kept as-is. Their nature is then clarified in the notes or on the talk page, to guarantee precise and transparent documentation. If I ever forget, feel free to come pull my ears! 😅

I also have a strong interest in web design, which I happily connect to my passion for data. CSS is one of my favorite languages, and I always strive to use its potential to the fullest, in order to give projects a clear, elegant, and functional look. Even though I am mainly active on the french wiki, if anyone needs a little help with template layout, nothing would make me happier than contributing to the development of this wonderful community. ✨
