Guide to the World of Super Mario

WORLD 1 — Super Mario Bros.

The first world of the Mushroom Kingdom. Goombas and Koopa Troopas stand in your way in challenging courses above and below ground.

Tip

Climb above the last ceiling using the lfit in WORLD 1-2 to find pipes leading to WORLD 2, 3, and 4.

Pipe-Rock Plateau — Super Mario Bros. Wonder

The world where your Flower Kingdom adventure begins. Full of grasslands, wilderness and — as its name suggests — pipes.

Tip

There's a hidden goal in Piranha Plants on Parade. Enter a red pipe on the elevated platform near the Wonder Seed to clear the course from the hidden goal.

BOB-OMB BATTLEFIELD — Super Mario 64

This course can be accessed through the painting of Bob-ombs. King Bob-omb awaits you at the top of the mountain.

Tip

Race against Koopa the Quick and reach the goal at the top of the mountain first to win a Power Star.

Pick up a Fire Flower to transform into Fire Mario.

Abilities

Throw fireballs to attack enemies.

Fireballs can be thrown underwater too.

Pick up a Mega Mushroom to transform into Mega Mario.

Abilities

With this, you can simply walk into enemies to defeat them, or break blocks.

You can even destroy the goal pole.

Super Mario Who is it?

Mario is always bright and cheerful and instantly recognizable with his blue overalls, red cap, and trademark moustache.

He's a trusted friend of Princess Peach, and he and his brother Luigi are known across the land for their acts of bravery.

Mario excels at sports including tennis, golf, baseball, soccer, and even kart racing. He's good at all of them!

He's a plumber by profession but is really a jack of all trades.

He uses his masterful jumping ability and a variety of power-ups to take on his archrival, Bowser.
