Our documentation of the subject is inadequate. Only remove this notice if the complete work is recovered and made available publicly.

About

This guideline has been determined by a proposal, which passed on August 26, 2025.

This template is used to tag lost media. A piece of media is considered lost media if:

  • It can't be experienced in its entirety on the Internet.
  • It is not available for purchase in any region, for any price.
  • It is not available in a library or other similar public archives.
  • For arcade games, it can't be played on an arcade or other similar public spaces.

Usage

To add a note on the availability status of the work in question, use {{lost|Type the note here.}}. If the subject has been documented to a degree that can be deemed thorough (without the subject itself being available to experience), add the parameter documented=yes.

This template pertains to articles by default; to make it about a specific section instead, add a section=yes parameter.
