DiC's Super Mario cartoon trilogy, though awesome in it's own way, was highly inacurate, in character designs, names and various other aspects. The color of Mario and Luigi's overalls was just one of DiC's mistakes. -- [[User: Sir Grodus|Sir Grodus]]

That's because when they auction off original animation artwork they often mix up cels amd backgrounds from different shows and studios, probably unintentionally
