Super Bell/Cat Suit?[edit]
Which name is more appropriate? Upon closer examination of Super Mario 3D World player commentary on YouTube, they seem to refer to it more as the cat suit. Yet, here on Super Mario Wiki, it's called the Super Bell.--96.49.137.125 00:26, 7 January 2014 (EST)
We go by the official name of things. So just because youtubers call it the Cat suit doesn't mean we should rename it. Besides this is the item not the actual suit. That would be this Cat Mario.

Possible Movie Appearance[edit]
I was going to make the change in the article, but I figured I'd ask first. During the fight between Mario and Donkey Kong in TSMBM, Mario transforms into Cat Mario, but he isn't shown collecting a Super Bell. Since the costume lacks the bronze bell (seen in the alternate version when Mario grabs a Lucky Bell), is it safe to say in the article that it's simply implied that he collected a normal Super Bell offscreen? --CBFan5 (talk) 21:43, September 27, 2026 (UTC)
- The Super Mario Bros. Movie#Power-ups already says its a Super Bell, so you should be in the clear. (For clarity, this is an inference based on how prominently displayed concept art includes every power-up visibly used in the film as well as the Super Bell, as noted on Talk:The Super Mario Bros.
