For some reason, Sky-Blue Spinies are considered derivatives of Buzzy Beetles, despite the only evidence of that being the German localization. Considering the lack of, well, just about anything else tying these to Buzzy Beetles in any way, I think we should stop calling them related.

#Baby Luigi I mostly interpreted the German name as an identifier, not a literal thing. It's a bit like thinking the California Gull lives exclusively in California, or that the horsefly looks like a horse or the spider monkey is part spider. Aside from the German name and the color of its shell, this creature has no similarities to the species it was named after, not even the fire-resistant properties, so it shouldn't be lumped under the Buzzy Beetle species.

#LudwigVon Except for the color of the shell, there is no similarity to a Buzzy Beetle. Also, I don’t think the German name should take priority. With Paper Mario: The Thousand -Year Door, some localization make mistakes/exception with the naming. (Pale Piranha, Piranha Plant, Parabuzzy)

#Yosh Strider Per all; it's just a name given because they're blue.
#AfternoonLight Per proposal!
#Bazooka Mario It seems clear to me that the German name is descriptive rather than literal, with color being the only similarity.
#Fawfulfury65 Per my comment.
#Bwburke94 The only evidence of relation is a vague reference in the German translation. (Hey, that rhymes!) It's best if we don't allow the German localization to determine this, because it leads to a slippery slope with all the languages Mario has been translated into over the years.
#TheHelper1000 They're not immune to Fire unlike Buzzy Beetles, so why bother calling them Buzzy Beetles.
#LinkTheLefty Whenever there's any contradiction between the original-language release and a subsequent localization, my deference tends to lean to former.

:I wasn't talking about It's exactly like the shell. I was talking about the color. The shell acts like a Spiny shell. The article itself says that they don't have the properties of Buzzy Beetles. If you get rid of the references in the article, you will have people who will wonder why the German version calls them Buzzy Beetle (Spiny). The answer is not getting rid of the German name either. The references must be on this page. 12:10, 27 August 2016 (EDT)

::Um, has the proposer even advocated getting rid of the references? All this proposal wants to achieve is to not lump Sky-Blue Spinies as a species or a species derivative of Buzzy Beetles. 12:23, 27 August 2016 (EDT)

:::It is only on this page that they are called Buzzy Beetles FYI. 13:00, 27 August 2016 (EDT)
::::I'm assuming that the proposer intended to remove the Sky Blue Spiny from the Buzzy Beetle category and from the Buzzy Beetle template, but not remove the reference to Buzzy Beetles in the article. The German name is an interesting piece of trivia that should be noted, but the article doesn't need to be in the category of Buzzy Beetles just for that.
:::::I see where it is. But you don't need a proposal to change that information. It is inconsistent with something else. Unless the proposer wasn't sure if he was allowed to do it. I think he should go ahead and do it unless he is wanting the proposal to pass. There are references in the page though. He should get rid of those and maybe reference them in trivia if this passes. But I don't know if trivia is the best place as it is good where it is. 16:00, 27 August 2016 (EDT)
::::::Yeah, I personally wouldn't make a trivia section unless there is absolutely no other place to put the info. And at this point, we might as well wait for the proposal to pass.
