If the lava's pink...

With the kingdom being made almost entirely of food, I wonder what the pink lava is supposed to represent. What normally comes to my mind is šaltibarščiai, a Lithuanian borscht that's pink in color. But then again, it's a cold kind of borscht. BoygeyPumpkineer
