Is it really worth having this article? The only possible reason I can see for it is the Donkey Kong '94 information with the opening and closing ladders and the ladder block, the rest of it goes against policy; I mean who knew you would climb a ladder :O? Yoshi876 (talk)

Title says it all. Basically, the rope ladders that appear in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, New Super Mario Bros. U, and New Super Luigi U are explicitly given separate names in the level Slippery Rope Ladders. By this logic, should we split it off? Power Flotzo (talk) 03:17, April 7, 2026 (UTC)

- Probably, though I'd prefer a more concise name source since we typically don't treat level names as always using the specific intended terminology of things (the "Swimming Beast in the Cavern" principle). Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 11:28, April 7, 2026 (UTC)
