King Kong is public domain?[edit]
The latest edit mentions "Consistency with other PD characters such as Santa Claus" and deleted the third party category, I assume PD stands for "Public Domain"? I thought King Kong was owned by Universal, explaining the whole lawsuit that happened between them and Nintendo over Donkey Kong. Can someone explain if King Kong really is public domain or who owns it? Cause I am very confused... --Metalex123 (talk) 02:19, May 26, 2026 (UTC)
- Oh wait I am dumb, it is literally stated on the page and in the lawsuit itself that King Kong is public domain, explaining why they lost against Nintendo... I'm just blind... --Metalex123 (talk) 02:23, May 26, 2026 (UTC)
