Name

Move to "Composer"

The current title for this page comes from Goombario's tattle where he sings "He's a Toaaad in the Deserrrt". That's not a name. This article should be moved to Composer, as it's how the character is consistently identified (usually lowercase, but capitalized in a couple lines). That's where the name comes from?? Yeah, we should definitely move it then, provided there's a source for the "Composer" moniker.

This current title almost borders on BJAODN-levels of absurdity, and I'm frankly amazed that this page didn't literally call him "Toaaad in the Deserrrt". Wandering Poplin (talk) 20:48, November 3, 2026 (UTC)

Well, maybe not capitalized, as the line that capitalizes "Composer" also does so for "Music", but here's a list of instances where he's referred to as such:

• "Mm? Are you addressing me? A composer am I♪ writing songs, well, I try♪"
• "A composer, yes that's me♪ I write songs, as you can see♪"
• "I heard a rumor that somewhere is a Composer beyond compare. Special power his Music brings. Can it help the Diva sing?"
• Show it to a composer somewhere in the world.
• And of course, from the tattle, "This composer seems pretty jolly, doesn't he?"
