You don't need to make a talk page post for each article, the conjecture notice already brings that to users' attention. Lucina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 22:02, October 13, 2021 (EDT)

Forgive me if I'm missing something, but shouldn't this be a Mega Mole? Compare the artist's depiction of "Mega" Monty Mole and Indy/Mega Mole - the former just looks like a larger version of Monty Mole, just maybe with more ruffled whiskers, while the latter has lighter fur and, in this panel, a very similar expression. Well Choropūko appeared in volume 23 and the last time a Mega Mole appeared in Super Mario-kun was with Pakkun Mogera from volume 9 (which was made from normal Monty Moles). With Mega Moles, Super Mario-kun always gives them their long nose, even when the one in volume 6 was shrunken into a "Monty Mole". Choropūko has a Monty Mole mouth just like Super Choropū. And Mega Moles were never used in Super Mario-kun after volume 9. There was a 7 year gap between volumes 9 and 23 so they probably made Choropūko an ordinary larger Monty Mole (like Super Choropū) due to Mega Moles not being used anymore. Another thing, Choropūko and the later Pūko from volume 46 have very similar names, I just wanted to point that out. That is what I think at least. The thing is the snouts don't always seem to be consistent in manga art, at least from what I see; in the first volume of Super Mario-kun, neither character has the distinct Mega Mole nose, and if anything, Super Choropū is one of the few depictions (if not the only) actually fitting in line with the guidebook "boss of the Choropoo" description. The moles' fur shade seems to also be something that changes on a whim between volumes. LinkTheLefty (talk) 08:28, December 5, 2021 (EST)
Well, all the Mega Mole appearances had the long mole-nose instead of the Monty Mole nose seen most of the time (it is actually pretty consistent). Super Choropū and Choropūko are the only original enlarged Monty Moles to have the normal Monty Mole mouth and noses instead of the Mega Mole ones seen most of the time. Yeah Mega Moles have the same body shape as Monty Mole, but they still keep their mole-like noses throughout all their appearances such as the friendly Mega Mole in volume 1. Pakkun Mogera defiantly seems more Mega Mole-like compared to Super Choropū and Choropūko due to keep a Mega Mole design, even if they were created from normal Monty Moles (which makes sense because they are larger Monty Moles as well). Super Mario-kun seems consistent on telling which and which isn’t a Mega Mole (unlike KC Mario who has some characters have Mega Mole features despite them being called Monty Moles). I could maybe understand that Super Choropū might have been made because they were not to familiar with Super Mario World, but Choropūko was made a whole 7 years after the last Mega Mole (Pakkun Mogera) appearance so if they were a Mega Mole, they would have a Mega Mole snout or have Indy in their name (they strictly refer to her as only a Monty Mole and never a Mega Mole). Also yes, Super Choropū did act like a boss over the Monty Moles like Mega Mole, but you forgot that there is also a Mega Mole in the sixth Super Mario World volume of KC Mario did act like a boss to the Monty Moles when they steal the golden mushroom. Also, the shading was only for volume 1 chapter 7 in terms of Monty Mole stuff, every other appearance has them colored correctly. MontyMoleLoreMaster (talk) 11:07, December 5, 2021 (EST)
Okay, I see it: the Mega Mole in the first volume has a slightly longer nose in several panels when it's looking off to the side (the picture on the wiki just doesn't show it off very well). How are you sure that these are meant to be big/Mega Monty Moles and not just a design evolution of Mega Mole, though? Considering modern big/Mega Monty Moles did not appear in the games until 2014, even after Morty Mole appeared. LinkTheLefty (talk) 11:33, December 5, 2021 (EST)
Well for starters, their home had Choropū on it and not Indy. If they were a Mega Mole, they would have probably used Indy instead. Super Mario-kun seems to have both Mega Moles and Mega Monty Moles and even considers both larger versions of Monty Moles. Some other things I wanted to add, the moles I was referring to in KC Mario that had Mega Mole designs were the Choropū Chika Butai. They are called Monty Moles, yet their designs clearly look like Mega Moles. KC Mario is definitely more inconsistent since some Monty Moles have Mega Mole noses in a few shots or their full appearance (this is defiantly noticeable in the Super Mario Kart arc). In volume 2 of Super Mario 4koma Manga Theater, a Mega Mole sorta acts like a boss over a Monty Mole, since they ask what they are doing and the Monty Mole calls them Mr. Mega Mole. I was also wondering, should the Monty Mole children in this volume get their own page like the ones in volume 54 (if they do have a unique name I have scans of the chapter here if you want to check: https://www.marioboards.com/threads/44397/). Anyways, I would like to hear what you think about what I said (even the KC Mario stuff and the Mega Mole boss stuff). MontyMoleLoreMaster (talk) 16:13, December 10, 2021 (EST)
