"less intelligent blond like"[edit]
The article says that Candy Kong is a "less intelligent blond like" in the games. I played almost all games where she's in, and I've noticed neither a proof for a low nor for a high intelligence. So, isn't that phrase about Candy's intelligence just speculation, or did I miss something? --Grandy02 16:32, 10 April 2008 (EDT)

Rewritten[edit]

Should this be noted?[edit]
Okay, whenever one of the kongs in Donkey Kong 64 manages to learn a new music skill, she mentions something about helping them play the Piano or something, even to Tiny Kong. I heard some people say things about Candy about it, but I was wondering if, sexuality or not, this is to be noted in the article. There's clearly a recent facelift here with the Bananza cameo's redesign mixing elements of the 64 and Paon versions. Shouldn't it be the infobox image? (Obviously, uploading the texture directly would be ideal, but too soon 'impossible'.) LinkTheLefty (talk) 16:59, October 31, 2025 (EDT)
- I would say no. That image appears specifically as a throwback to Donkey Kong 64 (it's literally almost one to one with the image featured in DK's Tree House in that title, pose and headphones and all), just updated to be on model with the newer design from Barrel Blast. We have no real indication it's meant to be her standard design going forward at this time and since it's also not an actual appearance of Candy, just a picture, I think the current one should stay unless something else comes out to imply otherwise. Multiple Animal Friends received model updates and redesigns internally at Nintendo, several of which appeared in Smash in the form of trophies, but we don't feature those as the infobox images, so I'd say the same standard should apply here.
